European Union - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory would like to invite you to consult the final Opinion document on 'The prevention of juvenile delinquency. Ways of dealing with juvenile delinquency and the role of the juvenile justice system in the European Union', submitted to The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC).
During the last meeting of The Section for Employment, Social Affairs and Citizenship of The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), on wednesday 22th February, Mr. José Maria Zufiaur Narvaiza, EESC Adviser has submitted The European Opinion.
The final voting took place during the EESC plenary session on the 15th March 2006 and The European Opinion was approved with 98 votes in its favour.
