OIJJ / Observatorio Internacional de Justicia Juvenil

International - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory participated on the 17th, 18th and 19th May 2006 at the International Conference entitled 'International Criminal Justice in the Age of Globalization'.This conference was organized by the International Institute for Judicial Sociology of Oñati and coordinated by Professor Emilio C. Viano (American University).

During this conference, about twenty papers have been presented about the international dimension of penal justice. More specifically, topics like international terrorism, domestic violence, juvenile justice, international penal justice, human trafficking, State responsibility, human rights, etc, have been studied.

National, Spain - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory is pleased to announce the publication of the 'National Strategic Framework for Children and Adolescents 2006-2009' in Spain, which has been elaborated by the Children Observatory and the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

The main goal of this Strategic Framework is to detect as early as possible, the lacks and to implement the existing resources thanks to the cooperation of public and private institutions, which are implicated in the defence of the rights of the child and adolescent.
