European Union - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory informs you about its participation in the Organisation and Scientific Committee of the International Conference on 'The migration of unaccompanied minors in Europe: the contexts of origin, the migration routes and the reception systems.' which will take place at Poitiers (France) on the 10th and 11th of October 2007.

The deadline for the presentation of the papers will expire on the 15th of March 2007.

National, United Kingdom - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory informs you about the publication of a research elaborated by the organization 'Shelter'. It analyzes the gap between different home categories, as well as, the living conditions of British children.

This report describes the poverty situation of one in seven children in the UK. It also studies how many children are suffering pshychological, social, health and educational problems caused by bad housing.
