International - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory informs you that the International Congress entitled "Phenomena in Juvenile Delinquency: new penal forms" organized by the General Direction of Juvenile Reform, Council of Justice and Public Administration of the Assembly of Andalucía with the help of the International Juvenile Justice Observatory, is approaching. It will take place in Seville (Spain) on the 6^th and 7^th November 2007.

The axes for the International Congress are:

I. Identification of Recent Patterns in Juvenile Delinquency: origin, analysis and comparative trends.

II. Policy and Practice Interventions: New initiatives and responses to juvenile delinquency.

IJJO / Observatorio Internacional de Justicia Juvenil

International - The International Juvenile Justice Observatory has co-organised with the research centre Migrinter, the international Conference on 'The migration of unaccompanied minors in Europe: the contexts of origin, the migration routes and the reception systems.' This event took place on the 10th and 11th October at the la Maison de Sciences de l’Homme et de la Société of the University of Poitiers and counted on a very large participation.

International - The Association Enfance et Partage fights against all kinds of mistreatments and for the acknowledgement of the Rights of the Child. For the occasion if its 30th birthday, Enfance et Partage is organizing, in partnership with the International Juvenile Justice Observatory, the International Seminar: 'Ethics and childcare: a collective engagement'.

This international event will take place on the 20th and 21st of November 2007 at the UNESCO in Paris (France). The four following approaches will be developed: Media and Endangered childhood; Interdisciplinary communication and Professional secret; Minor offender yet victim as well and Accompanying the minor when parents fail.
