The International Juvenile Justice Observatory (IJJO) is a Belgian Foundation of Public Interest based in Brussels. Since 2002, the IJJO has worked for the rights of children and adolescents at risk of social exclusion, especially those in conflict with the law or caught in the cycles of violence and juvenile delinquency.

Transnational seminar of the NETWORK project: ‘Towards a European child-friendly justice approach in the European Union’
In collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Justice, the European Commission and the Istituto don Calabria, the IJJO organised a two-day transnational seminar on the themes of child-friendly justice developments at European level, held in Brussels on the 24th and 25th of June.
First meeting of the project ‘Listen to the child’: good practices for children in legal proceedings
On the 28th of May 2014, the IJJO participated in the first meeting of the project ‘Listen to the child – Justice befriends the child’ (Feb. 2014 – Feb. 2016) in Sofia, Bulgaria. 
The IJJO participated in the 9th meeting of the Stakeholders Dialogue of the European Platform against Poverty and Social Exclusion
On the 25th of June, the IJJO took part in the 9th meeting of the stakeholders’ dialogue, concerning the development of the European Platform against Poverty and Social Exclusion, and organized by the European Commission (DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion).
