I am working with NGO Legal Assistance Forum. our current project is on Juvenile Justice System. I found that there are millions of children who need legal assistance for thie journey through juvnile justice system. This system should be child friendly and every component of this system Police, Probation, Boards and other courts, NGOs should work together, whether the the child gets justice at the end. It demands a radical change in the attitudes of the law makers, judiciary, administrators, government and upholding the respect for the rights of the child.

No debemos acordarnos de los/las jovenes sólo para transformarlos en depositarios de todos los aspectos negativos de nuestra sociedad. Si llegaron a encontrarse en conflicto con la ley, es porque el Estado e incluso la sociedad no hizo lo necesario para garantizar una ciudadanía inclusiva para ellos/as y sus familias. Por ello ante esta situación, toda iniciativa que contribuya a darle voz y defensa a los/las adolescentes en conflicto con la ley, resulta imprescindible y un paso adelante para la materialización de los derechos humanos.
