The recent violence in Timor-Leste reopens emotional wounds for many. Forced out of their homes, tens of thousands of Timorese have had no choice but to live in crowded camps. Coping with harsh living conditions and pervasive fear, children and adolescents are at risk of not only psychological distress but also physical harm.
