19th IIRP World Conference. Restorative Works: Share. Teach. Engage.

Monday 26th of October 2015 - Wednesday 28th of October 2015

The International Institute for Restorative Practice's 19th World Conference will bring together leading restorative practitioners and thinkers who are shaping the new social science of restorative practices.

As the field grows, the IIRP's role in supporting this work is also evolving. This year we are introducing a new conference format that will highlight the great diversity of approaches to this work. Participants will have the opportunity to select from a wide variety of topics as well as three distinct session formats to fit diverse learning experiences.

- Share: "Share" sessions will present information about an important project, research study, program or story. Attending these 50-minute sessions will give you a large variety of options to explore.

- Teach: New "Teach" sessions will be longer (100 minutes) and allow time for participants to gain knowledge and practice specific restorative skills or processes.

- Engage: Also new this year are facilitated discussions about specific topics proposed by our participants and related to restorative practices. These 100-minute sessions will facilitate exploring the collective experiences of conference participants.

Participants will learn about meaningful projects and research, develop new skills and engage in facilitated discussions of cutting-edge topics. Come to the IIRP 19th World Conference for an active experience that will push your thinking and practice forward.
