Agenda

Core Skills: Getting it ‘write’ for every child

Workshops

Date

Tuesday 20th of November 2018

Description

What makes a good report, great?

Research tells us that children involved in offending behaviour are often society’s most traumatised and victimised individuals, and will have various reports written about them for different decision makers. So how do we ensure these reports are meaningful, child friendly and fit for purpose?

Whether you’re involved in report writing or generally have an interest in this area, join us to hear from presenters and start important conversations. Speakers include Professor Cyrus Tata (University of Strathclyde Law School), Geoff Taylor (Risk Management Authority) and Jackie McRae (Children’s Hearings Scotland), with more confirmed from SCRA, CELCIS and the IVY Project.
