Abstract

This guide has been prepared by the Council of Europe’s Children’s Right’s Division for the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe’s Campaign to End Immigration Detention of Children. It has been developed with Defence for Children International (DCI) – Belgium1, drawing on the “Practical guide: monitoring places where children are deprived of liberty” published in the context of the European project, “Children’s rights behind bars” – CRBB2 on reinforcing the monitoring of places where children are deprived of their liberty.
