On this past May 2, the 4th steering group meeting of the European project ‘MIPREDET: Analysis of procedures and conditions on minors’ pre-trial detention’, financed by the Justice Programme of the European Commission, took place in the city of Murcia (Spain), hosted by the project coordinating partner, Fundación Diagrama. The other project partners are Asociation Diagrama (France), Istituto Don Calabria (Italy), Universidade Católica Portuguesa do Porto (Portugal) and the International Juvenile Justice Observatory (Belgium).

This project analyses to what extent the Directive 2016/800/UE is implemented within the European juvenile justice systems, as well as the manner in which the different international standards and recommendations are applied.

In this fourth meeting, an exhaustive review of the project’s dissemination plan in relation with the results achieved was carried out, in addition to focusing on the importance for each participating partner to maintain their respective web page updated on these results.

Lastly, the meeting focused on the distribution of the publications to the different entities and public organizations connected to the juvenile justice field.
