Last 15th and 16th of June, about 42 000 participants from 154 countries took part to the 10th anniversary of the European Development Days in Brussels. Organised by the European Commission, this huge event focused on the 2030 UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by the UN General Assembly in September 2015. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets that were the focus of those two days seek to complete what the Millennium Development Goals did not achieve. Among others, they seek to end poverty and hunger, improve health conditions, and to promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies with effective governance based on the rule of law. In relation to this, Juvenile Justice was covered by this event as well, with workshops dedicated to youth in relation to justice and crime prevention.
